Welcome to the Fredericktown Community Library
The Fredericktown Community Library has been serving the local community at its present location since 1995. Our facility offers books, movies, sound recordings and periodicals, providing information, entertainment and cultural enrichment for all ages. The Library also provides computer facilities for word processing and internet access. We invite everyone to visit our library, browse our collections or sit back in one of our cozy chairs with a good book and enjoy the spacious view from our picturesque front window.

Fredericktown PATRON COMPUTER LAB AREA
Through a grant provided by the Consolidated Electic Cooperative, Inc. the Fredericktown Community Library received funding to replace out-of-date equipment. Branch manager Janelle Cothren worked hard to gather information and complete the grant along with technical information, system research and statistics from the library Network Administrator. Through the funding from this program the library was able to purchase a total of four new Dell desktop computers, LCD monitors, laser printer, digital camera, battery backup units, and networking equipment to be installed. These computer systems will replace the original units that were owned by the village and installed when the building was erected. This new technology will provide library patrons with access to high speed internet, word processing, desktop publishing, and various other applications. The Fredericktown library offers its patrons access to a quiet computer lab style technology environment. 7 Patron Computers
