A Message from the Director

Welcome to KnoxNet, home of the web pages of the Public Library of Mount Vernon and Knox County. KnoxNet is the Knox County community freenet hosted and supported by the Library as a public service. In addition to offering e-mail accounts and Internet access to the citizens of Knox County, KnoxNet is the means by which the Library maintains its presence on the World Wide Web.

We hope you will enjoy browsing our web site. It is intended to reflect the Library's commitment to top quality public service and to developing and making available to the community the most useful forms of high tech electronic information resources and services.
