Fridays, 10:30-11:30 A.M., from late September through mid-April.
WHO?
All toddlers, preschoolers, kindergartners and homeschoolers are invited to participate. Parents are asked to stay in the room or building while Storytime is in session. Infants are invited to be present with caregivers.
WHAT?
Approximately thirty to forty minutes will be devoted to stories, finger plays, flannel board, songs and other educational activities, and twenty to thirty minutes will be used for the children to make a craft. Content of the program is primarily geared for children ages two through five, but age-appropriate alternative crafts and activities are often available for other ages. For example, infants will often enjoy hearing the other children sing songs or watching puppet plays. Older children who are home-schooled may enjoy helping the younger children or making more complicated versions of the weekly craft.
