Unit Collections

Debbie Flack will be happy to pull materials on a subject for you. She will pull as many books (limit of 30), periodicals, and AV materials as she reasonably can. Please try to give her AT LEAST ONE WEEK'S NOTICE to collect materials. She may need to borrow some items from our branches to complete your unit.

TIME LIMITATIONS MAY PREVENT HER FROM PULLING SPECIFIC TITLES. If you require more than 5 specific titles, we would prefer that you place your request online. Use the Search the Catalog link at the left of this page and enter your library card and pin numbers to place reserves. The library reserves the right to place restrictions on certain subjects during periods of high demand.
For example:
APPLES, FALL, TREES, OHIO, NATIVE AMERICANS, STATES, COMPOSERS, HOLIDAYS, AND SCIENCE FAIR MATERIALS.

You may contact Debbie by calling 392-2665, ext. 247 or 248. She will call you when your unit is ready. We will hold your unit for 3 days after your specified need date unless notified.

ASSIGNMENT ALERT

Please inform the Youth Services Staff of any impending assignments that may require students to search for materials at The Public Library of Mount Vernon & Knox County. Call 392-2665, ext. 248. We will be happy to pull materials for use in the library.
