Library System-wide Copier Rate Change
Each patron will be allowed 10 free, black and white copies and 4 free color copies per day. Copies made after that amount has been reached, will be $.10 per side for black & white and $.25 per side for color.

Crayon Recycling Initiative
May 1-31, 2024 the Fredericktown Community Library will be collecting old, broken, unwanted crayons. At the end of the month, the crayons will be sent to the Crayon Initiative, a non-profit that takes old crayons and recycles then into new ones for children in the hospital. Drop off your crayons at the Fredericktown Community Library.
Children's Take It and Go Craft
Stop by the circulation desk at the Fredericktown Community Library anytime on the first of the Month and pick up a Children's Take It and Go craft. Free and available while supplies last.
Fredericktown Storytime Ages 3-4
Fredericktown Storytime for children ages 3-4. Parent/caregivers are encouraged to stay with the child/children. Storytime is free and open to the public. Registration required. Register at the library or call 740-694-2665.

The Ohio State University Extension: College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences presents Pressing Flowers. Join the Knox County Master Gardener Volunteers at the Fredericktown Community Library for a pressed flower make and take.
Master Gardener's will teach you techniques for pressing flowers, the best flowers to press, and equipment needed to press flowers.
Each attendee will get to make a pressed flower bookmark to take home!

2024 Summer Reading Program June 1-July 12, 2024
Sign up for the 2024 Summer Reading Program for all ages, June 1-July 12. Set a reading goal and read, attend programs, participate in craft days, win prizes and most of all have a great summer. Free and open to all ages.
Adult Five-Book Reading Challenge June 1-July 12, 2024
Read FIVE, different books based on the categories. Those that read, record, and return the Five Book Challenge book log by July 12th will be entered into a drawing for a $100 Visa, $75 Visa, or $50 Visa. Reading Records with categories can be picked up at the Fredericktown Community Library. Happy Reading!

Wednesday, June 26 at 1:00 PM, at the Fredericktown Schools Board of Education Building in the Gymnasium, 117 Columbus Rd. Fredericktown, OH. 43019. Join the Fredericktown Community Library in welcoming the Wild World Zoo with an educational and interactive overview of several animals, giving kids a close-up view of wildlife, and teaching them about animal habitats. Fredericktown Storybook Trail
Look for the Storybook Trail on the dirt path between Levering and Merrin Park, located at 130 Stadium Drive, Fredericktown. Enjoy a small nature walk while reading a picture book.
Our featured title is "Penguin and Ollie" by Salina Yoon. The Storybook Trail will be changed out quarterly, so be sure to check out future titles. This Storybook Trail was made possible with the help of the Scarbrough Bequest. |
