Library System-wide Copier Rate Change
Each patron will be allowed 10 free, black and white copies and 4 free color copies per day. Copies made after that amount has been reached, will be $.10 per side for black & white and $.25 per side for color.

Fredericktown Community Library will be CLOSED, May 31-June 1, until 2pm, for a new Circulation Desk countertop and acrylic panel installation.

Celebrate Mental Health Awareness

Enter to win a Basket Raffle during the month of May in celebration of Mental Health Awareness Month. Fredericktown Community Library Summer Reading Program

Summer Reading Program registration begins on Monday, May 22, 2023. Enjoy a variety of programs for all ages, crafts, reading incentives and so much more! Stop by the Fredericktown Community Library and get registered. Free and open to the public.
Stop by the Circulation Desk at any PLMVKC Library and pick up a Five Book Challenge Book Log, June 1-30, 2023. Read FIVE different books based on the categories on the book log, record them and provide contact information. Adult patrons that complete the Five Book Challenge and turn in their book log to Circulation by June 30, will be entered into a drawing for a $50 Visa. Free and open to the public. Part of the 2023 Adult Summer Reading Program.

Summer Reading Program Kid Shelf @ Fredericktown Interchurch Collection

All during the Fredericktown Community Library Summer Reading Program, Tuesday, May 30-Wednesday, July 12, 2023, donate items to Fredericktown Interchurch Food Pantry Kid Shelf. Some suggested items include: cheese and crackers, peanut butter, drink boxes, fruit cups, yogurt/apple sauce pouches, fruit snacks, raisins, pretzels, granola bars, and pre-packaged meat sticks. Patrons may bring their items to the Fredericktown Community Library to donate.

*Please pay attention to the expiration date of food items. We are grateful for all donations but we cannot accept food items that are past expiration date. Thank you.

Children's Take and Go Craft Giveaway, Mondays (except June 19, Library system closed) during the month of June. Stop by the Circulation desk and get a children's craft to go! First come, first serve. Free and open to the public.

"Be Kind" Teen Summer Reading BINGO

As part of the Fredericktown Community Library's 2023 Teen Summer Reading Program, Teens get to participate in "Be Kind" Teen Summer Reading Bingo. Tuesday, May 30-July 10, 2023. Stop by the Library and pick up a BINGO sheet, complete all the squares and return it to the library by July 10th, to be entered to win a prize. Free and open to Teens, grades 6-12.

Adult Craft Program: Bee Kind Beehive

Join the Fredericktown Community Library for an Adult Craft. All supplies provided. Registration required, begins May 26, 2023, stop by the library or call 740-694-BOOK to register. Free and open to the public.

Family Program: Sew a Pillowcase for Camp

Flying Horse Farms is a camp for children with serious illness, to heal, grow, and thrive. Community and belonging is a huge part of the camp experience. Stop in anytime, Tuesday, June 6, from 10 AM to 5 PM, for teens or adults. Pillowcase kits will be ready for you to stitch up at the Library (with help if needed) and donated to Snuggled in Hope for Flying Horse Farms. No registration necessary. Sewing machines and materials provided. Free and open to the public. Questions? Call 740-694-BOOK.

Program will be held second Monday each month from 3-5 PM at the Fredericktown Community Library. Fun things to do...crafts, games, movies, treasure/scavenger hunts, etc. and snacks! Free and open to the public.
Registration required, beginning 6-1-23.
